Youth Improv Classes

Experience the benefits of improv classes for your child.

If your child has never tried improv, and you’re curious as to what all the yes-anding is about, we recommend you start them with our monthly sample workshop.

Is it easier to commit to one week of improv instead of several? Sign up for our Improv Camp, featuring 90% fewer bugs than most camps!

Our Youth Improv courses will teach your child the basics of our approach to improvisation, and will also help them in school, relationships, and social situations.

NO improv or acting experience is necessary to participate in our classes.

Learning improv is useful for your child for so many reasons. Here are a few of them:

  1. Active Listening. Improv will strengthen your child's active listening skills, which are crucial to all of their relationships, including at school and at home.

  2. Body Language. The way your child moves, sits, and stands can be just as communicative as the words they say. Improv will teach them how to convey their openness to listening physically as well as audibly.

  3. Communication. As the world reconnects more every day, it's important that we don't forget how to communicate our ideas and feelings to one another. The most crucial lesson your child will learn in improv is how to express themself clearly and concisely, even in front of strangers or in a crowd.

  4. Collaboration and Leadership. A crucial tenet of improv learning how to work together to create something as a common goal. Improv will teach your child not only how to lead, but also how to be supportive in a group environment.

Our owners taught for years at the middle school and high school levels.
